First Aid & CPR Massachusetts
Massachusetts regulation 606 CMR 7.11(1)(a), enforced by the Department of Early Education and Care, requires at least one educator currently certified in first aid and age-appropriate CPR to be present at all times whenever children are in care. New educators have up to 180 days from hire to complete their certification.
Anaphylaxis at pagbibigay ng gamot
The same regulation requires at least one educator with medication-administration training on site at all times, with medication supplied by the parent, given with consent, and stored securely out of children's reach. Emergency medications such as epinephrine auto-injectors must be immediately available for use as needed, so a trained educator can treat anaphylaxis the moment it appears.
When a child can't breathe, the minutes before help arrives are the ones that matter, and an educator who has practised CPR and auto-injector use responds instead of hoping. The families who choose your program are trusting you with their children's lives. A recognized, standards-based certification — including blended online-and-in-person courses — keeps every classroom covered and license-ready.
